For many
bloggers, the question about how much they should post and at what lengths they
should make their blog posts has been a difficult one to answer. I wanted to
make this blog to answer some of the questions that you might have about your
blog and post frequency so let’s take a little time and look at the arguments
for both sides.
Good
The good thing about posting blogs on a regular schedule and
at good lengths is that that brings readers to value your blog a lot more than
other bloggers who just write short articles but do not explain the topic
fully. Readers like myself look for blog topics for the purpose of gaining
information about a topic and being able to engage in such posts so when you
come across a blog that posts regularly and explains the topic at greater
lengths, the value for knowledge is there.
Posting frequently also helps you develop a constant
interaction with your readers which then will help create an active healthy
community on your page. Also, the more you post, the more chances you have of
people running into your blog which will then increase your status on your
subject matter.
Bad
The most evident thing about posting too much and too long
of posts is that most people are probably not looking to spend a great deal of
time reading a post. They want to be able to gain information very quickly, so
it is important that you are able to get straight to the point. Sometimes the
best way to get your information out there is by setting it up as easy and
simple as possible.
Whatever way you feel works best for you and your blog goals
is up to you. Just consider the topic that your blog is about and test out both
ways for a while to see which one creates the best response from your readers!
